This video was on a local news show interviewing a pregnant lady who was becoming a U.S. Citizen. My DIL just happen to be standing next to her. (DIL has on a red sweater).
If you've never been a part of somebody wanting to become a citizen, it's an amazing process. It took 6 years of paperwork to get it all done.
I'm in the video too...but you'll just have to wonder which one is me!

Are you ready for a wild guess? (The lady at the end in gray wiping her nose...)
Congratulations to your DIL.
Congratulations to you all.......I am sure your support helped your DIL! I admire her for hanging in there with all the paper work and struggle.
I know which one you were.....that tall, beautiful, designer dressed blond with the rich guy on your arm! Those diamonds on your finger are just dazzling! LOL
Congratulations to your DIL. She should be very proud of herself for getting thru the whole process.
Congratulations to your DIL and family. That's a wonderful occasion to all celebrate together. How about a hint on which one you are in the photo? VBG
Wow! Congratulations to your DIL and your family!!! :o)
Congratulations are definitely in order for this wonderful event. Much hard work and she did it...not like so many people who just come here....
Hooray -- good for her!!!! Congratulations to you all! Give us a hint -- who are you?
My mystery is rapidly turning into a UFO. I'm dissatisfied with it ...

So inspiring to watch. My parents and older brother are all naturalized citizens. They still all have the flags they were given that day!
Oh, how exciting! My sister used to teach classes designed to help with the citizenship tests. We marveled at how much a person had to know to become a citizen, and how lucky we were to be born here! I'm guessing citizenship is taken for granted a lot less among those who have to work for it.
Congratulations to your DIL!
Congratulations. That's great news. :-)
Congratulations to your DIL...wow, 6 years, good for her.
My wild guess is you are the court reporter or secretary since I know you work for the state....
I really enjoy your blog and your new house is lovely. Your pies and desserts look yummy too. Keep on stitching when you can, Linda
Congratulations to your entire family! My son has dual citizenship by birth, but DH is not a citizen and it has been nothing but a huge and hopeless headache, sigh. Canada seems to be a good compromise for now. I am sure that everyone in your family is very happy!
Cheers!
Evelyn
