Hotter than hot

These temps are for OKCity which is about 80 miles away, and it will be about 5 degrees hotter out on the prairie.

I feel for my guys working outside. I preach to drink lots of water and Gatorades and they usually do.

Glad I have a paying inside job today. It's gonna be a long hot summer.

I will quit complaining about our heat wave now. It's hot here, but nowhere near your temps. It is supposed to end tomorrow.

I like your banner!

Weather channel shows it's 94 here, but my weather station outside shows 102. It's dang hot, that's for sure. We barely go outside, just feels better for the kids to watch TV where it is cool. Maybe if I had a pool. Any pool, I'm not picky.

We have heat today and higher tomorrow (with humidity) but we can't match your temps. As usual, around this time of the summer, I start wishing for fall to hurry up, knowing it won't, of course. I'm glad I too have AC and can stay indoors.

We got up to 108 yesterday here in SW Oklahoma. A couple months of heat still ahead. Oh well.

O.K. I'll quit bitching about our weather...

BTW I got e-mails out the wazoo this morning - I can definately tell that it is Tuesday & not Monday during the Summer...

But e-mails get done so quickly!

YUK! Move down here to the Gulf coast. Although the heat index is around 103, we nearly always have a nice sea breeze....uh complicated by an occasional hurricane!

Oh man I feel for y'all... I remember some days like that when we lived in TX but it seems y'all are having more 100 degree days than usual.

I'm glad it wasn't that hot here in PA as I had a couple Amish men working on my slate roof yesterday. It was in the upper 80's and a little humid but we Thankfully had a nice breeze through the day.

I hope it cools off soon for ya!

I hope there's no humidity with that! Is this 24-hour-a-day air conditioning?
