Still July

And we're still busy. Was reading somebody's blog and it had a "finish 5 by end of July" challenge button. That just ain't gonna happen at my house. I can't finish a sentence around here, let alone a project.

Well, I can say that I've finished one project this month-- a scrappy log-cabin for a wedding gift for my niece. Pictures will follow afterwhile...when I get the other pictures downloaded too.

This is just to let everybody know that I am still alive..barely. As you read this, I will be recooperating from minor surgery. A week off work and I'll be good-as-new....right? That is what the doctor says, so we'll see. The laundry and dishes are caught up but you know I'll get stir crazy....but I gotta heal!

Everybody have a good July!

Can't wait to see the LC. (Did you use any of the fabrics that I sent your way?)

I prayed for you this a.m. that all would work out just fine. I was at the hospital today w/ my mother who was losing blood somehow....blood count was 6...had a transfusion and raised it to 9. Said it was bleeding ulcers from Naproxen....Prevacid covered up the symptoms/pain. She has to stay one more night and then we'll see how it goes. I hope you are up and going like you'd hoped....or down so hubby and kid has to wait on you hand and foot...tee heee.

I ditto what Aunt Jo said. And pace yourself! Minor surgery is traumatic on your body, also....

Wish I was there to sling hash for you or something. Speaking of food, consider leaving sugar (desserts. I know, I know. What a darn drag!) alone while you are healing. It screws up your immune system and leaves you more prone to infection. And I know you don't want THAT....

You're on my mind and in my prayers, sweetie.
