This weekend...

I have boys coming Friday and Saturday to MOVE us. Yes, I said we're FINALLY moving in....this weekend!

They say it's coming in as rain, and ending with snow on Saturday by noon. I have rugs ready at every door so there won't be too much mud tracked in. I need to buy a new mop.

So, what's the percentage of weather forecasters that are right?

Unfortunately, Mama K, I've noticed that since the advent of satellite imaging weather forecasters have been much more accurate. However, here in SoCA they've predicted rain a number of times this fall (which we desperately need) and it hasn't come to us so maybe you'll get "lucky."

Whether the weather cooperates or not, CONGRATULATIONS on your move into your new home. I am so INSANELY jealous! I know it will be a while as you will be very busy with the move and the holidays but do look forward to hearing your move-in story!

Have a wonderful holiday!

Good Luck with your move! I keep my fingers crossed for clear skys... but if you are going to get wet weather - rain or snow is better than more ice!

Isn't that just the way! Unfortunately, I think they are accurate. They are predicting snow to start falling here in Northern Colorado by 6:00PM tonight. Sorry.

Man oh man, it's messy from here to there, isn't it??!! My dd is moving in this ice and snow and owl-snot slick stuff on the roads. (she sold her house today) Thank goodness I have the kids and dogs here, so I don't have to worry about them too!

My quilt guild Christmas pot-luck supper was cancelled tonight because of it. My mouth watered all day, just thinking about all those new recipes I would get to try out, tonight. (sigh...) Dawn Marie couldn't even drive over for it, because the snow and rain started 2 hours sooner, over her roads, 30 miles away from us. (another sigh....)

Be safe! Through all the work tomorrow, just remember that you are gonna be one happy gal, tomorrow night.... I'm so tickled for you that I haven't got the words to tell you!!!

Good luck. What a time to be moving, and in those conditions. Hope it goes well.

I'm so happy for you to be able to realize this dream. It's been fun watching this adventure.

What will you do with the "old" structure?
