I did not go to work today. My 30 mile commute just didn't seem real high on the priority list. So I stayed home and sewed....now THAT is important....it also keeps me warm.
It doesn't look that bad, but I guarantee you it's an ice skating rink out there!As I was about to press publish...I hear water running--it's raining again.
I've finished the first two steps of Bonnie's Mystery quilt. There's a set of solid squares to go with the second picture....they're cut out over there on the floor ----->.
I believe today is definitely an in-side day!

Saska, thank you for staying home today! I have been worried about you, when I watched that mess you're in, on the weather channel. I've been worried about my step-Gkid and GGkids, in Tulsa, also. Man, I can't help but pray that you guys use all that bad weather all up, before it hits us tomorrow night!
Good job on that sewing you are getting done. Love your colors! Can't wait to see it together...

Wow - those of us on the left coast can't even imagine. I'm glad to hear you're all OK - staying home is the only logical thing to do!
OMG I'd have also stayed home with all that ice! How awful and I see so many people are without power as well. We'll be getting some ice tomorrow, I sincerely hope that it's no where near as much bad as yours. I can cope with snow better than ice.
Sewing .... that's always a good thing, love your mystery colours.

Stay in and sew! I can't wait to see the quilt finished. I can see the ice from here. And Neen shhhh I want schooled closed so I don't have to go to work.

I must disagree with you - it does look bad!! Very cold and icey. Good idea to stay home and sew :))
