Red & Blue Star

If I've posted a picture of this star before, you can ignore me today. I was washing bedding and decided to take a picture of this quilt. This is Troy's bandana quilt that was made several years ago.

I used Eleanor Burns method of making this star which is probably the fastest way of putting one together--for me anyway. There were guys here working on the house and one of them even commented that it could easily disappear if I left it out there for very long. It's definitely an eye-catcher.

Your farmyard, complete with tractor is a perfect backdrop for this quilt! Nice picture!

Beautiful! I didn't know EB had a pattern for this one. I might have to check out the Quilt in a Day site again.

You said it! Beautiful!

Of course, the tractor is the unique addition... did it just happen to be parked there?

Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely a beauty! I don't think you've posted a picture of this one before.

I'm so sorry your crops got rained on! Rain is the farmers friend unless it comes at the wrong time, right?

What a gorgeous quilt .... especially blowing out in the breeze. I've always liked that design, but never tried it.

We could use some of that rain out here in Illinois! And a quilt like that would add to local beauty, too. It looks great with that bandana fabric.

Love the Lone Star. I made one about 4 years ago and have only just had it quilted and now I'm excited about the design and keen to make more. Your colours really work.
