Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas here on the farm. Cool temps--mid 40's....but always wind. There were 7 of us here Christmas morning to open pkgs. Fun, low-key day just like we always like.
The morning sun was shining thru as these two were eating breakfast waiting on the rest of the crew to get home.
If you've followed me very long, you know I don't do this very often....but HERE is me with the boys. From the left....Troy, Travis, and then Trent always in his overalls.
Hope everybody had a good Christmas. We can't wait till next year when we'll have two grandaughters to share it with.
Speakin' of which....Rachel has done everything wrong...she healed faster than they thought she would so she's back on milk. She's also gained up to 3lbs. 1ounce...they said she'd lose weight with her infection. Yep..sounds like a typical grandaughter...breakin' ALL the rules! Go Girl!

Happy Holidays My Friend! Thanks for the pic of you you and your guys!

Good to hear that your Itty Bitty is being such a rebel... LOL Her Mom & Dad will probably pay for that rebel spirit when she's 15 - but for right now it's a good thing!

That is a sweet picture of you and your boys. I am glad little Rachel is doing everything wrong already! I think she might be giving her parents (and grandparents) a lot a grief as she gets older!

I'm glad you finally posted a photo with yourself in the pic! Your sons are so handsome and you really do look like the big sister rather than the proud mama! Merry Christmas to you and your family. I hope little Rachel keeps up the good work. I'm sure she has a whole contingent of folks keeping her in their prayers.

What a pretty woman with those handsome guys! Travis probably looks most like you, I think though I see a resemblance in Troy and Trent around the eyes so they must favor your hubby more.

I hope that infection is clearing up and your little angel will be home with her folks soon. The weight maintenance is a good sign.

DJ's grandson and DIL went through a situation similar to yours though our guy was a little further along when the emergency arose--like double the body weight. He is 16 now and you would never know that he started off as a preemie.

Here is a question, is your floor laminate or real wood? I have the laminate and the echo is so annoying. I've dispersed rugs throughout the house and it seems to help. I'm wondering if I might not have enough things hanging on the wall to help....do you have that problem?

Hey girl, it's good to see you! You have some good looking men in your life! We have a new Trent this year too. Or should I say last year??? Our Trent was born December 9th and he's quite a bit bigger than your little Rachel. Rachel looks better all the time. I am keeping her in my prayers. Here's wishing you and yours a happy and healthy new year....hugs, Linda
