There are pictures of the traffic on my camera. How in the world does a farm gal from po-dunk Oklahoma drive thru Ft.Worth/Dallas rush hour traffic? Or, is the traffic like this all the time? Guess everybody is just trying to go home at the same time. There are more cars than cows here!
Tomorrow is the Virginia Bound workshop and I hope I'm ready. It's in the Scraps and Shirttails book--of course I have a signed copy. I inherited my FIL's plaid shirts so I'm making this quilt strickly plaids. It's hard finding light-colored ones, but they do sell FQ of them too in Texas quilt shops.
I am still in awe of this gal. I still don't know when she sleeps. But I hope I do tonight, 'cause tomorrow is going to be a long day.
Guess who's car gets to haul the quilts?

Glad to hear you are having so much fun. Enjoy! And then tell us all about it with pics!
I hear you about that traffic! I'm pretty certain I'm scarred for life! Yikes! Can't wait to see your projects from your wekend! I searched through my stash and could not find any light plaids. In fact, couldn't find plaids period! How sad is that?
Can't wait to hear about your workshop in Denton. I didn't get to make it Thursday night. I am definitely planning to go the next time she is in the area.
I'm so glad you were able to go! Yes 4 hours is a long way, but you'll never forget the quilting experience! 8-))
It was so nice to meet you and put a face with a blog! Looks like you really enjoyed your visit in Texas and had great weather. I really enjoyed Bonnie's program in Denton and the 5 of who came from our retreat that night all came away with lots to tell the others when we got back. She is a fireball, huh? Will be watching your blog for that quilt as it comes along!
