On the wall

My DIL calls this "the Madness Quilt". It's a Triple Irish Chain and the squares finish at 1". I've always wanted to do one of these, and why in the world I started one this tiny is beyond me, but I LIKE IT! DIL told me to put the blue with it too...and I LIKE IT! It may be madness but when you work a stressfull job and then you go home to the Bernina and you can make those little squares match up...it's ONE thing I have control over! YEAH!
I haven't decided how big I'm going to make it, but it's going together pretty fast actually.

I can completely relate. This is on my to do list also and probably in just this size. I have an really tattered one my grandmother made. Tiny piecing must be in the genes.

Wow - 1" finished blocks! Goodness that's tiny. Love the look of it and the blue is lovely.

I just love quilts with tiny pieces! The blue looks great with it... I am cutting a quilt right now and all the scraps I am cutting into 1.5" squares - I just can't help myself. Still don't know what pattern I will end up using, but those finished 1" squares are darling! Cheers! Evelyn

I like the blue too! I've got one of these on my list to make one day but the squares probably won't finish at 1 inch!
