Oh man! hope nothing serious (I mean, long term identity stolen serious) comes of it!!
A few months ago I thought all my credit cards and checkbook was stolen. We were at church and I went to get the checkbook for the offering and it was GONE! Wallet was there, but it was stark empty. I panicked!! Searched my entire purse, diaperbag, etc. Was in the bathroom during the service just in tears about it, and how was I going to tell my husband. Then I took a deep breath, went to look in the car. And in the spare diaper bag found everything. Apparently the 2 year old was playing and decided to rearrange everything. I was never more thankful than right then. LOL!
Have you called Walmart? Perhaps someone took the cash/credit cards and had the sense to hand it in with things like your Driver's Licence still there. I do hope so.
I'm so sorry! I told Vince just this weekend that I'm watching my purse way more closely these days. I think it's ok if you cry . . if you want to! I surely would.
Last winter my purse and everything in it were taken from my car (thought it was locked..) and I know just how you feel. It is more than not having your stuff..it is that someone, someone creepy is going through it all as if it is theirs..I blogged about my loss and the eventual recovery of it too. I lost my wedding diamond which was my mom's since it was in the purse and wasn't recovered...it still makes me mad. Hugs to you....
I am so sorry this happened to you. It is ok to cry... I know for a fact I would cry LOUD and probably kick something, then I would cry louder since I would probably break a toe.
I hate that that happened to you. I've had mine stolen twice. It is no fun...I feel for you..Cancel all you cards and just be real careful. Hugs, Linda
Oh I am so sorry. I assume you are okay yourself, right? I lost my purse the other day, and was going through a panic, but fortunately found it after some searching. I had tucked it behind a pillow to support my back! I hope the work for replacing all your stuff goes smoothly.
That just sucks! I had my purse stolen in high school and the creepiness of someone going through your stuff is the worst! I can't imagine the people that have their homes broken into must feel.
And, I have broad shoulders. You can use them to cry on, anytime. I'm good at patting backs, too. I'm good at crying with you too!!!!
I think our biggest problem, today, in society, is that some folks, watching Congress, are finding out that crime DOES pay... Like Cheryl said... Sad, sad world..

Wish there was something I could do to ease the pain and frustration you are experiencing at this time.
