If you're from Oklahoma, you'll get the ORANGE in this. The pattern is called Milky Way and it's ready to be quilted. Hopefully by next week because it's going to be auctioned off at an FFA event for Troy. I have a price in my head that it needs to bring...or it's coming home with me (or I should say Troy, so I don't have to make another one!)
It's approximately 70x80", so it'll make a nice sized lap quilt for somebody.
I was asked "Orange-ya-glad this one is finished?"...and...if anybody finds a star going the wrong way...don't tell me, okay?

Hi, love those two finishes. The quilting looks great in the previous-I like the Lazy daisy look.
I am presuming Oaklahoma must be some kind of Orange state...not quite up with that!
Lovely!!! I love orange!!! Hope all goes well with the auction!

Oh I like this quilt. I love orange and this is lovely. To bad I am not an Oklahoma fan. I might keep this in mind for a Halloween quilt though.
A die hard OSU fan should bid this up real high and then buy it...OSU started as being an Agriculture college many moons ago.
Quilt is great looking...
Have a great week...even if the fields are real wet.

Hey, I don't even like orange and I like this one...good job and I hope it brings big bucks! Hugs, Linda
Looks perfect. I hope it earns a lot of money! (That is realtive though - in my MIL's neighborhood, they had a bake sale - the cheapest thing was $100. I feel bad for the person who purchased her betty crocker donation - she got an endive quiche.)
go cowboys! this is going to go for some goooood cash!
Great job and I don't even like OSU colors usually! Can't wait to see your next quilt. :)
That's what one person I know calls "honking orange!" LOL! OSU fans will love it! As far as I can tell, no stars are backwards or upside down.
I've given your blog the Kreativ Blogger award from my desertsky quilting blog. =)
It's stunning!!! I liked your l;ast finish as well, but this one 'speaks' to me lol
When I first moved to Texas I couldnt' understand the big thrill with the TCU? UT? TA&M? playing OSU. There were commercials, bumper stickers and general mania. Being from Ohio and an Ohio State Alum, I couldn't understand the fervor over playing OSU, Ohio State University, so far south! You should have seen the looks I got when I asked! Live, make a fool of yourself and learn!
Just stopping in to say hi! You do such beautiful work on your quilts! Have a great day.
What a wonderful quilt! Wonder what team this represents? (hehehe)
oh wow!
Somebody is going to LOVE that quilt! :-)
I used that same fabric in a quilt for a friend as a wedding gift- both were alumni from OSU.
That is beautiful- you did great! Hope it fetches bunches!!!
