The final mystery step was revealed and of course I had to do it different. The rail fence blocks are going into the border and I swapped their block for solids. The sashing also made the blocks stand alone more. There will be an inner red border and a wider blue outside one.
Something chocolate and very fattening. Mini-brownies with carmel Kisses. Easy snack that is devoured.

Oh, VERY pretty quilt! Good work!
The quilt is really beautiful and I can just taste those brownie bites from here. Sometimes I put p-nut butter chips in the middle too JFF.
I really like what you have done with the quilt. The red really stands out and makes the rest pop.
Are those the cookie things from the Pioneer Woman Cooks? I want to try them!
I love how your mystery has turned out! The red makes it very striking!
And oh my yummness....those brownies are sinful for sure! :D
Oh yours looks so vibrant. It is wonderful
It is just lovely. You were just right with the two inch sashings...perfect!! Have you thought about how you will quilt it?

I'm for adding sashing on this quilt, it just makes the blocks stand out more. Your baking looks delicious! My mother and her hubby live between Carmen and Alva on hwy 45. Where are you?
