Last saturday was the MCC Relief Sale in Oklahoma and this was the first year I've gotten to go. DIL's family works with the benefit, and it was fun to go see their quilt show. She has pictures on her camera---will try to post them later. Beautiful quilts made by the Amish and Mennonite ladies all across Oklahoma. Was thrilled at some of the prices that they were bringing. Glad somebody appreciates the work going into them.
They also have a quilters-corner where you can pick up scraps to go into your own quilts. Well, you know I had to rummage through it and I did find some good bargains. --like my washing machine full for about $5. But...I needed it!
The woodwork in my house is now stained a real pretty fruitwood color. No, I haven't taken any pictures and it sure stinks! Hopefully, they'll finish up this week. My countertops are suppose to be here next week. The contractor thinks we'll be moved in (did I say that?) by December 1st. ..maybe sooner. Sure, it'll be COLD then....but it'll be nice and cozy (and insulated).

I really love your blog header!
Hoping you get moved in as they think, it will be lovely to be relatively settled by Christmas.
Oh I can't wait until you are all moved into your new home. I hope you have plenty of room for sewing.

December 1!!!!! OMG - how exciting, that is so close. I'm sure you have more than enough to keep you busy until then.
